Mission

Mission: Develop students’ awareness of the rapidly changing global world, the challenges faced by the local, regional and global communities and their ability to come up with practical solutions for the challenges due to the dynamic interplay of humans and the environment

Introduction

Our programme aims to develop our mission of developing an awareness of the vulnerabilities, constraints and challenges faced by the local, regional and global communities due to the rapidly changing global world. This would be facilitated through the acquiring of knowledge of the characteristics and distribution of, and an understanding of physical and human phenomena.

Through the developing of skills in acquiring, communicating, applying and evaluating geographical knowledge, students would develop an informed concern about the quality of the environment and the future of the human habitat, and thereby, enhance students' sense of responsibility for the care of the Earth and its people.

Geography teaching pedagogy and learning packages follow closely to the MOE Geography Syllabus and are refined and streamlined to achieve the outcomes in our students that aligned with 21st Century Skills, and the College’s Values. And at the end of two years, we hope to see our students be able to apply their skills and knowledge acquired from the study of the Geography and showcasing their passion and strong values.
