Introduction

Gymfit was a student-initiated CCA established in 2015.  Training is carried out mostly in a well-equipped gym for its members who help maintain the equipment while guiding other gym-users on the safe use of the equipment.  Members are educated and trained in the principles of weights training, human anatomy and biomechanics. Each weekly training session is conceptualised and planned by the executive members with the aim of having fun while training in a safe environment.

In keeping with new training techniques, the members train with fitness aids such as punching bags, speed parachutes, weight vests and bosu balls. Other than traditional training programmes, courses such as basic first aid, boxing, yoga and most recently Zumba are also organised to further enhance the members’ knowledge of physical fitness and to incorporate new training trends. Gymfit leaves no one behind. We plan, organise and train as a team.
