Pioneer Junior College Education and Career Guidance (ECG)
Overview of ECG@PJC
The ECG Programme in Pioneer Junior College takes students on a two-year journey of self-discovery and informed decision-making. Along the way, students will answer the following three big questions:
1) Who am I? (Self-awareness of strengths, interests and personality)
2) Where am I going? (Seeking advice and engaging in meaningful discussions with parents/ significant others on their aspirations, so as to make informed decisions regarding higher education and career options)
3) How do I get there? (Taking steps to work towards achieving desired higher education and career goals)
This is achieved through:
1. Equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to develop self-awareness of their strengths, interests and personality
2. Creating platforms for students to experience both in reality and vicariously tertiary and work life
3. Empowering students to make informed decisions about their career and higher education options and plan for the future.
